We are so blessed to have so much family and so many friends. There are some weekends, however, when life just feels downright crazy. Last weekend was one of those. Ali, Joe, Connor and Carter were in town for Connor's birthday and Gracie's birthday over the weekend and we kicked off the festivities with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese's on Friday - right after Max's 6:30 T-Ball game. We spent a few hours at Chuck's and then were off to Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Cindy's (Joe's parents) for cake, ice cream and presents that night.
Bedtime: 9:30.
Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on Saturday morning, we were at the baseball park at 8:30 for the Boulder-Arrowhead Little League "Parade of Athletes" and pancake feed. It was a loooooong "parade" with about 30 teams being announced player by player. The grub was good, however, and Max made us proud.Bedtime: 9:30.
Here are Bella and Brighton enjoying their pancakes while their brother participates in the "parade." (I keep putting parade in quotes because it was really more of a "standing-around and waiting" sort of thing).
As we were leaving Max stopped suddenly to check out a "rolly-polly potatoe bug." Brighton was fascinated as well.
Saturday continued with a Reese Waldron's Hula-Girl birthday party at 11:00 am, Bella's dance pictures at 12:30, Max's T-Ball pictures at 2:30, and Gracie Curnow's Birthday Party at 3:00. Yeah - it was nuts.
