Bella and Max's 8th Birthday!

Wow! Max and Bella turned 8 on June 13, which is so very hard to believe. Their birthday party was soccer-inspired, although the festivities were held at Geyser Park. The kids had a blast riding the bumper boats, go-carts, and playing lazer tag.

Each of them invited 5-6 friends to the party...it was a great group of kiddos.

Max and Bella were super excited about their new mountain bikes. They each have 7 gears and they kids have spent the last couple months enjoying their new bikes. We have rode our bikes to the swimming pool, McDonald's, McKenzie River, the park, and just around the neighborhood. Our nightly rides are proving to be a great way to get some exercise with the kids - and they absolutely love it!

Vegas!

We had a great time in Vegas on our way to Lake Havasu for our houseboating adventure. We stayed at Excalibur, and the kids were thrilled to be in the castle. It was a great way to kick of ths family vacation.

The Lion King was EXCELLENT! The show started at 7pm (8pm Montana time) and did not get over until 10pm (11 pm Montana time), yet we had no sleepers. Big hit.

Curnow Babies Free at Last!

After six weeks in the NICU, the Curnow babies were discharged from the hospital late Monday afternoon. Ali is so relieved to be out of the hospital and finally settling in with the two newest additions to the Curnow Family. They will be going home to Sheridan, Montana, on Sunday afternoon or early next week, depending on how their Doctors' appointments go on Sunday. So far, so good, however, as both boys are gaining weight since discharge.

I have to say that I am in awe of how this family has handled a very difficult (albeit blessed) situation. Joe has been Super-Dad, taking care of Connor and Carter in Sheridan while Ali has been spending 16 hours days in the NICU with Brody and Gage. Through it all, they have both kept their spirits up and their attitudes positive. They have enjoyed their time together every weekend, until this last one when Carter and Connor came down with strep, if you can believe that.

St. Patrick's Day

We had so much fun at the St. Patty's Day Parade in Billings earlier this month. We went with Grandma Barbi, Gavin's cousin Tyler, and Auntie Gayle and Uncle Jock. Things got even better when Connor and Carter joined us - look at all these cute kiddos!

We were all surprised when a clown came off the parade path, ran over, and jumped in this picture. Carter looks a little nervous about the clown, but the other kiddos thought it was a blast.

SKIING!!!

We skiied a handfull of times this winter. The kids really seem to like it and are all getting better each time we go. It is a great family pasttime - now, if we could get Gavin a little more interested.

Basketball and Wrestling

Both Max and Bella played basketball this year, and Max also wrestled. It made for a busy winter, but the kids really enjoyed their first year of basketball. In fact, Bella said she is not interested in dancing next year - she prefers sports!

Tenley Arrives!!!

Tenley Erin Keltz finally met her mommy and daddy on Saturday, February 26, 2011. She is already a stubborn little girl, arriving nine days after her due date and fighting her arrival even then (apparently she really liked the warm waters of Kendall's uterus). So, after slow progress when labor was enduced, Kendall delivered the little doll via c-section. Weighing in at 8 lbs, 6 oz, and 22.5 inches in length, we are tickled that this beautiful baby girl finally decided to join us!

After a great first couple days, she appeared to be working too hard to breath, so they put her on some oxygen and IV antibiotics (as a precaution, as she had a little fluid in her lungs). I was over in Bozeman yesterday and wasn't able to see or hold her - but Kendall and Ryan could show her to me through the nursery window.

Today, she is off oxygen and doing very well - I just received this adorable picture from Kendall. The Keltz' will be going home tomorrow! Hurray!
